Meeting this Monday

Next Monday, the 28th, there will be a meeting of all the participants in this year's Octoberfeast @ 1:30 at the Brighton Bar & Grill. There are some new participants this year so we want to go over what they can expect from the program & what they can expect from us the Ambassadors. This will also be the first time we have the opportunity to discuss the menu for Octoberfeast. As we finalize that we will update you.

There will be a new logo this year, but that won't be the only new wrinkle we have to unveil. Oh My Lolli will be a participant this year and in addition to the "taste" of their product, they will be giving out a commemorative gift to each patron that comes by. Though it is still in the works, the item will be some candy packaged with the Octoberfeast 2011 logo on it. Pretty neat, and we're all pretty excited about this addition to our program.

We have enough buttons thanks to last year's committee so we anticipate the ability to start selling buttons as early as next week. Ambassadors just make sure there are new stickers on the buttons when you go to pick them up. We're ahead of schedule---let's stay that way if possible :)

We will be in the September issue of the Marketeer, possibly the October issue as well, but definitely the September one. Due to previous experiences, we will not be doing any radio ads and possibly not any newspaper as well. Between our enthusiastic Ambassadors and the track record this event has had, the extra expenses just don't seem necessary.
